Desert
A slow immersion into the sandstone heart of the Thar Desert — fort walks at golden hour, folk-music evenings, and a desert storytelling gathering with nomadic embroidery traditions.

❦A Rajasthan Residency · Nov 16–28, 2026❦
A Modern Renaissance
After centuries of mass tourism, we are bringing back the Grand Tour — not as a relic, but as a renaissance. A return to slow, considered travel where culture, craft, and conversation matter more than checkpoints.
Private access to studios, archives, and artisans rarely opened to outsiders.
Hand-loomed fabrics, block-printed silks, and a garment cut to your measure.
Intimate gatherings with makers, curators, and fellow travellers who seek depth.
A Modern Renaissance
Anno MMXXVI
From the desert archives of Jaisalmer to the artisan villages of Jodhpur, the tailoring studios of Pushkar, the block-printing legacy of Jaipur, and the imperial geometries of Agra — a slow, access-oriented journey through the people and lineages preserving India's living craft ecosystems.
"Observation over consumption. Dialogue over performance. Access over sightseeing."
For the bold · For the few
This retreat is for the bold. The unique. The ones who walk into a room and are recognised before they are introduced — because nothing they wear could be worn by anyone else.
You will leave with a garment that exists nowhere else on earth — hand-printed, hand-stitched, and cut to your measure inside the workshops that shaped it. A piece with a provenance. A signature only you can sign.

The Experience
From dawn-lit dye gardens to candle-lit dinners inside 18th-century havelis — every day unfolds as a curated composition.

The Itinerary
Unrushed to savour immersive experiences that stay with you for years to come.
November 16 – 28, 2026

01
A slow immersion into the sandstone heart of the Thar Desert — fort walks at golden hour, folk-music evenings, and a desert storytelling gathering with nomadic embroidery traditions.
02
Artisan home visits inside a living weaving community: natural-dye demonstrations, loom observation, and hands-on textile handling alongside the makers themselves.
03
A private session with a contemporary Indian designer to conceive, fit, and commission a single one-of-a-kind piece — yours to wear home.
04
An afternoon exploring the legacy of hand block-printing, followed by a working session inside a heritage studio where you'll learn to carve, ink, and print your own textile design.
05
A full restorative day inside a heritage palace spa — Ayurvedic ritual, hammam, and unhurried quiet built into the rhythm of the residency.
06
A private culinary session with a Rajasthani household chef: spice-market walk, regional thali instruction, and a long shared meal to close the evening.
07
Curated access to private archives, designer studios, and a dawn audience with the Taj Mahal — geometry, lineage, and memory experienced firsthand.

Meet your host
Having explored over 30 countries across the globe, my journey has never been about the typical tourist path. It has been a decade-long search for original craftsmanship, hidden design heritage, and the preservation of slow fashion. Whether navigating the vibrant artisan markets of East Africa, tracking down rare textiles in Southeast Asia, or collaborating with local tailors to bring custom designs to life, I have dedicated my life to the art of the deep immersion.
I know how to find the unique and the beautiful where others see a crowd. I know how to gain access to the private archives, the quiet studios, and the master artisans who hold centuries of knowledge in their hands.
This 12-day journey to India is the culmination of everything I have learned about global travel, visual storytelling, and intentional community. I have meticulously designed every detail of this itinerary—from the heritage palaces to the private studio archives—so that you don't just see India. You experience it seamlessly, safely, and deeply.
I am inviting you to step past the surface level, upgrade your creative network, and join me in the heart of Jaipur. Let's create something original together.
